Little Waltham Investment Club

The members of the Little Waltham Investment Club meet in the White Hart pub in the village on the third Monday of each month. Over a drink, or two, and in a convivial atmosphere, there is considerable discussion on the performance of the stock market and individual companies.

The aim of the club is to make a profit from investing in the Stock Market and follows the Proshare model used by most investment clubs in the UK. Investments are made after stock market and company research using available Internet and financial press sources. Members then act as champions for individual investments updating new information and recommending buying, selling or holding actions to the next meeting.

The Club was founded in 2001 and at present has 12 members who reside in Little Waltham, Broomfield and Springfield. It is open to both men and women with an interest in financial matters. New members make an initial investment and all members make a monthly contribution to the investing fund.

The Club has a strong social side with occasional dinners, barbecues and other activities for members and their spouses.

At present there are opportunities for new members to join the Club.  For further information please contact us via lwic@littlewaltham.org.uk
